Maintenance, Operations & Transportation
The Maintenance, Operations and Transportation Department's top priority is to provide and maintain safe, clean and conducive learning environments for students and staff. We are responsible for three elementary schools, one middle school, one administrative office, and two child development sites.
Our department includes:
- bus transportation
- building/facilities maintenance
- custodial services
- grounds maintenance
- planning & construction
- security/surveillance operations
Facilities Master Plan
(Board Adopted November 2016)
For the past year, Livingston Union School District has been evaluating its school facilities to ensure that the quality of our classrooms, facilities and technology maintain at a high standard for teaching and learning. This process included planning and gathering input from our governing school board, school staff, parents and community members which in turn resulted in the adoption of the district's Facilities Master Plan. This plan identifies areas of need within our existing school facilities and establishes priorities for implementation of facility improvements over the next ten years.
