Special Education

Livingston Union School District’s Special Education Department follows federal and state laws and regulations for students with disabilities.  This is accomplished through the Resource Specialist Program, Special Day Class, Speech Therapy, Section 504 and Individual Health Plans.  These programs and services are provided at all sites.  Depending on age and disability, the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) will accommodate those that need more intense services.  Our Special Education staff consists of highly qualified certificated teachers and paraprofessionals.
